RESCUE & SANCTUARY PROGRAM |
The Wild for Life Foundation provides sanctuary services including transport, health care, nutritious food, safe harbor homes and placement assistance for wild and domestic horses and burros in need.
Incoming equine refugees who’ve been victimized by roundups, removed from their home lands, stockpiled inholding or slated for gruesome death through extermination or barbaric slaughter. who come into our program are so severely scarred by traumatic experiences they've encountered prior to their arrival that they may require sanctuary placement for the remainder of their lives.
WFLF strives to provide safe harbor and open space habitats for wild horse and burro refugees through conservation of precious resources which are maximized to help assure sustainment and continuum of quality care for animals in need. Undeveloped open spaces are sought and utilized to enable enhancement and expansion of WFLF's sanctuary program for the purpose of saving, protecting and preserving these victimized equine refugees. Through ongoing contributions to WFLF, these precious resources enable WFLF to serve these animals and expand its programs and in turn save more lives. WFLF has indeed provided hundreds of refugee wild horses and burros with lifesaving rescue, as well as sanctuary placement in open spaces and multiple acre habitats for many years through WFLF's sanctuary program.
Your continued support enables us to provide these victimized wild horses and burros with the assurance of forever safe harbor through our lifesaving sanctuary program.
